David Worgan has faithfully completed 5 years as Church Warden of Emmanuel, for which we are most grateful for his loyal service. He will be stepping down from this role at he end of the year. Legally, however, there is a requirement for two church wardens in each church.
We are, therefore, looking for a person who would be willing to take on the role of Church Warden at Emmanuel. Wardens are elected each year so it is not a lifetime commitment.
This role would be made easier if a group of volunteers would become Service Wardens responsible for setting up ready for worship and making sure things are tidy afterwards. Please have a think and be praying about this important role. If you wish to know more about what is involved Heather can give you a print out of duties and you can speak to David or Colin.
