Finding God in Every Day
Our daily lives are often very full. Full of things to do. Full of meetings and deadlines. Full of places to be. Full of people to meet. For some they may be full of time on our hands. Full of hopes we would like to fulfil. Full of things we don’t want to face. Where is God during the daily life we are dealt? How do we find God in fullness, in the full-ness of life?
Prayers for Beginning the Day
Over coffee, as you’re walking or commuting, or as part of a communal prayer to start the day, invite God into your day and pray for God’s presence and guidance.
1. Give Thanks For The Day Ahead
2. Respond To God's Presence With You Today
3. Offer Today As A Day In Which To Encounter Christ
Prayers for ending every day with God
An examen prayer has six simple steps. It is not a prayer to make a list of things. It’s not an exercise to analyse your day. It’s a chance to make space to be still in God’s presence and grow in awareness of His presence with you in all of life.
1. Find A Place To Be Still
2. Give Thanks For The Good Things In Today
3. Let Go Of Things Bothering You
4. Review Your Day
5. Talk With God
