During our services an offertory (or collection) is taken. This money goes to the church to pay towards all the running costs of the buildings including heating, insurance, candles, printing and a contribution to the Diocese. We also use it to support a number of charities too. Many people make regular donations via standing order so may seem to ignore the collection plate, other make regular donations in blue envelopes or by cash. If you are a visitor to our church and would like to make a donation using a card or by phone then please look out for the QR codes located in the coffee area at Emmanuel or in the Narthex at St James, or simply ask a sidesperson for help. Our February heating bills (for both churches) amounted to over £2,100 so all donations are very much appreciated. Thank you.
